My brother-in-law Gene will be missed by all of us. He was such a bright beacon in our family, he could always make people laugh, he loved Teresa and Michael more than life, and he was one of the most generous people I have ever known. I will miss him terribly.

I cant add a memory as I only met Gene a few times as a result of my freindship with his brother Paul. Knowing Paul now for several years, I recall things that Paul had told me about his family, in particular, Gene over the course of our friendship. The Terzano family has lost Gene now and I know first hand what that feels like. I know many others do as well. I can only offer sympathy for what they are going thru and compassion for the times ahead. No words help, but please know that the Terzano family is in our thoughts even though Ive only met some of them along the way -- Jeff & Sharon

I started working for Gene when I moved to NJ. He was kind to me and made me feel like I was a part of his work family. He taught me a lot and helped me to feel secure in my job. That meant a lot as I am a single mother and moved from Illinois so security was a major thing for me. He had a very kind heart. I remember he always talked to me about Michael and Theresa. Michael was just a little guy at the time and he came in to spend the day with his dad. Gene was always proud of his son and family. I am praying for your peace and courage to face the days ahead and that your loving memories are forever held in your heart. When I lost my mother and my sister the below poem explained my empty place my loved ones held in my life and won't be complete until we are all together again in heaven. My deepest condolences for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers.
Sincerely, Kathleen Doran (LTS)

The Broken Chain

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
