Obituary for Frank Allen Cassera Jr.

Frank Allen  Cassera Jr.
Frank A. Cassera Jr., born in Rahway, NJ on June 20, 1961 - March 25, 2018. 56 years young, Mount Laurel, NJ.

Frank’s career path led him to Advertising Sales in the early ‘80s, while teaching Aerobics and focusing on health and wellness. Although Frank achieved a high level of professional success by industry standards, Frank never allowed a job to identify him. He beamed with pride when he spoke of his family, and dedicated much of his life to serving them. Male friends are quoted as saying that he made them a better man…and Female friends admired him for his heart full of warmth, kindness and genuine caring. Frank was also a man of many interests and passions, and sought out to pursue each and every one of them with enthusiasm and conviction. At the age of 40 he rekindled his Love of Music by getting back on the Drums and playing zealously ever since. Then…with a Sanded Volleyball court in his backyard, Frank gathered his friends and created a playground for fun and competition…and a lasting brotherhood. As Frank continued to evolve, he was drawn to Yoga and its profound philosophy of self-awareness and the unity of mind, body and spirit. He devoted 235 hours of Yoga training to achieve his teaching certification, spreading the love, kindness, and compassion in his heart…to all beings. Frank was a teacher and student…with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to share that knowledge whenever called upon. Although Frank’s life has been sadly shortened, his family takes solace in knowing that he was their Angel put on this Earth, in his spectacular form, for only a limited time. They know he will continue to teach them…every day for the rest of their lives, and they will assuredly feel his presence.

Frank is survived by his beautiful wife of 27 years, Diane; son, Gary (Melissa); daughter, Macy;
parents, Frank Sr. and Judy; sister Melissa (Gary); brother George (predeceased); mother-in-law Madeline and sister-in-law, Donna, along with six nieces and nephews, one great niece, many aunts and uncles and countless devoted friends.

Family and Friends are invited to Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals on Tuesday, April 3 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Celebration of Frank and Tribute at 8:15 pm. On April 4, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, viewing hours will continue followed by a luncheon at The Laurel Creek Country Club, Mt. Laurel at 1:00 pm.
