Obituary for Frank Smith

Frank J. Smith Frank Joseph, 83, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Virtua Health and Rehab Center, Lumberton, NJ. Mr. Smith was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in East Brunswick, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel 27 years ago. He worked for Prudential Securities in Manhattan, NY. Frank honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Smith was an active member of Saint John Neumann RC Church in Mount Laurel. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Smith and his sister Elaine Graham; he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores (nee Trimarco); children Marilyn (Joe), Frank (Jeannie), Dolores (Mark), Stephen (Jodi), and Andrew; sisters Mary Donoghue and Diane Campa; brother Raymond Smith; as well as 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The viewings will be held on Sunday, December 22nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 9:00 AM on Monday, December 23rd at Saint John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, 560 Walton Avenue, Mount Laurel. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamesburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to the “American Parkinson Disease Association”, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10305 or at www.apdaparkinson.org
