Gordon H. Huckerby, age 84, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Mr. Huckerby was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and was a former resident of Cinnaminson, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ. Gordon worked for many years for Chilton Publishing Company before transitioning to a full-time career in real estate sales. Gordon was outgoing and social and was always willing to help a neighbor or friend. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, hockey, rowing, history, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Gordon is survived by children, Nicole Huckerby (Philip Cohen) and Keith Huckerby (Melissa); his grandchildren, Brooke Cohen, Bradley Cohen, Annabelle Huckerby and Lillianna Huckerby. He was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and Harold Huckerby and by his siblings, Joan Mitchell and Edward “Ted” Huckerby.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by his funeral service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA at 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
