Obituary for Hank Rudderow

Harry Lishman “Hank” Rudderow, age 76, passed away in the comfort of his home, in Pennsville, NJ.

Mr. Rudderow was born in Mount Holly, NJ and lived most of his life in Mount Laurel, NJ. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Rutgers University. Most recently, Mr. Rudderow worked for Sweeney Seed, in Mount Laurel. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pedricktown and was also involved in the Pennsville Historical Society, the Salem County Historical Society, the Moorestown Grange, and the Burlington County Farm Fair Association, of which he was the President for many years. He was passionate about antiques, books, classical music, and wildlife, and he maintained an amateur newspaper column entitled ‘The World Around Us.’

Surviving are his brother, Amos Rudderow (Harriet); nephew, Joel Rudderow (Lisa); great-nieces, Jacelyn and Teagan Rudderow; and many cousins.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. Interment will follow at Eldridge Cemetery, Mount Laurel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Burlington County Farm Fair Association, P.O. Box 475, Columbus, NJ 08022.
