Obituary for Herbert Keller Jr.

HERBERT KELLER, JR. Herbert Keller, Jr. , 85, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Mr. Keller was born in Camden, NJ and had lived in Cinnaminson, NJ and Mount Laurel, NJ before moving to Delray Beach 12 years ago. He was a self-employed Mechanical Contractor; retiring in 1991, during which time he was a member of Local 322 Plumber Pipe Fitters Union and longtime member and trustee of their Health and Welfare Fund. Mr. Keller had coached and officiated many youth sport teams; served as deacon at his church; and was a past master of the Masonic Order (Henry S. Haines Lodge #15). Additionally, Herbert had many interests: he was an avid Phillies and thoroughbred horse racing fan; and professional trombone player and member of the Musician’s Guild. Mr. Keller honorably served his country in the National Guard Reserve as Master Sergeant. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Marie N. (nee Bianco); daughters, Karen Plumlee and Nancy Repholz (Chris); sons, Herbert, III (Susan) and Robert; sister, Anna Bundesmann; grandchildren, Michelle Polk (Troy), Jon, Julia, Lauren, Tim, and Eric Keller, Lara and Katy Repholz; and great grandson, Ryan Polk. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Philip Plumlee; daughter-in-law Cindy; and brother, Edward. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by the memorial service all at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2618 New Albany Road, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Keller may be made to The Kidney Transplant Department at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 1600 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ 08103 or to the Salvation Army, The Salvation Army National Headquarters, P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22314. Arrangements by the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals.
