Obituary for Howard Dvorin

Howard Dvorin
A celebration of the life of Howard Steven Dvorin will be marked after Dvorin passed away on March 6, 2018 at age 79.

Dvorin was a devoted father of Adam Dvorin (Ellyn) of Philadelphia and David of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. He was a proud grandfather of Maya Sarah and Rachel Leigh.

Dvorin was also survived by his ex-wife, Helen Dvorin, of Marlton, New Jersey.

Dvorin is remembered for his gregarious nature, his easy sense of humor, his passion for photography and his faithful dedication to the Philadelphia Eagles -- the team for which he once supported as a season-ticket holder, with seats on the very last row of the 700 level of Veterans Stadium. His family believes it is fittingly appropriate that he finally saw the Eagles win a Super Bowl on February 4, 2018.

Dvorin is also remembered for his career as a small business owner -- he operated residential house cleaning service, Steven the Cleaning Man, for more than 20 years before retiring in 2013. He also worked as a real estate agent and, briefly a photojournalist.

A native of Bayonne, New Jersey, Dvorin is the son of the late Ruth and Harry Dvorin. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and also attended Rutgers University.

Relatives and friends will gather on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at noon at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Interment at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill, 25 Fostertown Road, Medford, New Jersey.
