Obituary for James Barth

JAMES H. BARTH James Herbert Barth, 84, of Willingboro, New Jersey died Friday, May 29, 2015 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center in Mount Holly, NJ. He was born in Boston, MA and lived in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Willingboro in 1960. Mr. Barth honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. He was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal with one star, United Nations Service Medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation Badge and many other service honors. Mr. Barth is survived by his sons James W. (Michele), Joseph (Nita), and Thomas; daughters Susan Hunley (Bud) and Sandra Barth (Vinnie); his close friend Jane Scheff; grandchildren Joseph, Lauren, Alyssa, and Michelle Barth, Thomas and Anthony Hunley, Emily Light, Ashley Rafferty, Christopher and Matthew Miller and Jessica Franchino; and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Jessica. Mr. Barth is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 4th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by the funeral service both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Interment will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 5th at the Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
