James J. Walsh

James John Walsh of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, January 17, 2018. He was 75 years old.

Mr. Walsh was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Bensalem, PA before moving to Mount Laurel 11 years ago. James was fascinated with Astronomy and other related Sciences. He also enjoyed reading and listening to classical music. But above all else, Mr. Walsh really cherished spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife, Annette Decker Walsh (nee Shenkin); daughter, Jennifer Long (fiancé Jim Cirillo); brother, John Walsh; grandchildren, Michael Long Jr., Megan Eich, Melissa Long; great grandchildren, Andrew Patchell Jr., Lily and Levi Eich, Genevieve Long; step-daughter, Lorna Cassano; step-son, Daniel Decker. He was predeceased by his former wife, Cynthia Taylor.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 20th from 10:00 to 12:00 PM immediately followed by his celebration of life service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James name may be made to The Planetary Society at http://www.planetary.org/become-a-member/other-ways-to-give/living-tributes.html.
