Obituary for Joanne Esposito

Joanne V. Esposito Joanne (nee Valdrini), 69, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at home. Joanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She gave of her time and heart to family, friends, the community and anyone in need. She was known for her generous spirit and kind, welcoming nature. Joanne was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived in Mount Laurel for the past 40 years. Mrs. Esposito was an active volunteer for the Cherry Hill Deer Park Fire Company/Rehab 13 and has held the position as chair of the social committee since 2007. Joanne had a passion for gardening and was very well known for her natural green thumb. Mrs. Esposito is survived by her husband of 48 years Patsy; Daughters Gina Ostmann (Donald Sr.), Marisa Esposito, and Angela Esposito; Sister Rita Morasco; and her grandchildren, Peter, Randi, Donald Jr., Adam, Kelly, and Luke. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Dolores Valdrini. The viewing will be held Sunday, January 19th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 20th at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joanne’s memory to the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh, 3526 Bakerstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15007. www.osbpgh.org
