We have enjoyed getting to know Kathie and John on the Malt Shop Cruise. He always had a beautiful smile and kind words. John reminded me of my brother, Jon, who also had his own Tool and Dye business and a wife named Cathy. And My Jon also passed this week. John D was a very generous and righteous man. We will miss him. My prayers go out to Kathie and the family and especially the granddaughter. I always enjoyed hearing stories about her. So glad John and Cathie and the family had a great trip to Italy to celebrate a daughter’s wedding. I loved seeing the pictures and hearing the stories. Was a trip of a lifetime. John and Kathie were so happy to be there. My heart goes out to Kathie. I lost my husband , soulmate, of 46 years to cancer. You get better but never over a loss like this. You live a new normal. Life will be good again. Your precious granddaughter will keep you going.
Love, Connie Parker-Gatti

There are no words to express the sorrow in our hearts over the loss of this man. We haven't known John for a long period of time, but what a loving husband and father. It was truly evident that his wife and family were his priority and the loves of his life. We met John and Kathie on the Malt Shop Cruise. John was so funny with his story telling, it was really good to laugh and enjoy his company. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet him and spend some time with him. We will always hold John in our hearts and will miss him dearly. Bonnie and Charlie Rhode
