John Emery Lingo Jr.
John E. Lingo, Jr. slipped the surly bonds of earth on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Masonic Village in Burlington, NJ.

John (Jack) Lingo was born in 1930 in Camden, NJ. He graduated from Collingswood High School and was a standout football player and SJ High Hurdle Champion. He attended the Univ. of Delaware and studied civil engineering. He then joined the United States Air Force where he served his country as a fighter pilot during the Korean War era and then as a member of the Reserves and the NJ Air National Guard. Not only was Jack an industry pioneer, but his passion for flying lead him to become a certified flight instructor so he could share his love of flying with all of his students. Later in life he renewed his love of the water and spent many wonderful days on his boat in the Chesapeake Bay with his wife. He was a member of the Willingboro Presbyterian Church, Quiet Birdman (QB), and Riverside Kiwanis Club.

Mr. Lingo is survived by his beloved wife Gail, his son Jeffrey Lingo and wife Donna, son Douglas Cook and wife Julie, and sons Bradford Lingo, Tyler Lingo and John Lingo; and grandson Jeffrey C Lingo along with seven other grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on August 18th, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Willingboro Presbyterian Church, 494 Beverly Rancocas Rd, Willingboro, NJ with a luncheon immediately after. His final earthly resting place will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
