Obituary for John Repholz

John Michael Repholz, age 74, of Delran, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Village at Orchard Ridge in Winchester, VA where he resided for the past three years. Mr. Repholz was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1942, the son of the late Jacob and Agnes Rose Repholz.  He was a 1960 graduate of Father Judge Catholic High School.  John was veteran, having served with the United States Air Force. He was employed for over 35 years in sales and management in the trucking industry, working for Rice Holman Truck Center and Arrow Truck Sales until his retirement in 2005. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He can and will be remembered for his generosity, love of family and all things with wheels. He was a true motor-head with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John married Carol Ann Jordan on October 27, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She preceded him in death in 2005. John is survived by a son, Christopher J. Repholz and his wife, Nancy, of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey; a daughter, Stephanie Fairbanks and her husband, Bryan, of Winchester, Virginia; four grandchildren; Lara Repholz, Katherine Repholz, Lindsay Fairbanks and Timothy Fairbanks; one sister, Eileen McGonigle of Delran, New Jersey; brother and sister in-law, Jim and Sandy George of Delran, New Jersey as well as many extended family members and close friends. A memorial service will be held for John at Mount Laurel Home For Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel NJ on Saturday, April 23. Visitation will be from 10am-11:30am and a Memorial Service from 11:30am-12pm. Memorial contributions in John’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Medical Center or Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice.
