Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Schlitz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for John Schlitz

John “Jack” T. Schlitz John “Jack” Thomas, 70, of Marlton, NJ, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at his home. Mr. Schlitz was born in Camden, NJ and lived in Mount Laurel and Ventnor, NJ before moving to Marlton 3 years ago. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. John was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Louise and his brother, Michael. He is survived by his children, John, Lisa Smith, Ed, Sara, and Mark; sister, Mary Lou Pflug; brother, Edward; and 3 grandsons, Morgan, Randy and Christopher. The visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19th from 10:00-11:00 AM, immediately followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service all at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Jack to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
