Obituary for Joseph Graham
Joseph Graham, age 87, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
Mr. Graham, a U.S. Navy Veteran, was born in New York, NY and spent his entire life living in the South Jersey area. He was the HR Manager at the Eagle Point Refinery retiring in 1990. He was a 4th Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus Counsel 1082 and a board member for Abilities Solutions in Deptford, NJ. Joseph was also President of the Delaware Valley Chapter of CRA for Texaco Retirees, and was a supporter for Options for Women in Cherry Hill. He enjoyed playing Santa for the Knight’s Christmas party and the Abilities Solutions. He graduated with honors having obtained an English degree at the age of 73 and enjoyed many years as a substitute teacher.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Dolores Graham; and daughter, Kelly Gesshel. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Graham (nee Fordyce); children, Joanne Rizzo (Tony), Lauren Graham, Connie Graham (Steve Hausner); grandchildren, Celia Loud, Kathleen Shacklett, Eric Rizzo; great grandchild, Ryan Shacklett; step-children, Erica Latko (Jonathan), Tracy DiPietropolo and step-grandchildren, Josh DiPietropolo, Jordan DiPietropolo, Ruby Latko, River Latko and Stella Latko.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, May 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 2nd from 9:00 to 10:00 AM both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 2nd at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Entombment will follow at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph’s name may be made to Options for Women at https://connect.egiving.com/where-most-needed190/options-for-women or to Abilities Solutions, Att: Susan Perron 1208 Delsea Dr, Westville, NJ 08093.
