Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marea Jones can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Marea Jones

MAREA B. JONES Marea Beryl Jones (Uhlman) of Cinnaminson, New Jersey passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, July 3, 2015, in her home. Marea was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Coudersport, PA before moving to Cinnaminson 50 years ago. She was a sales person for Bell Bridal and Tuxedo in Bristol, PA; retiring in 1993. Marea had a zeal for life, and a gift of hospitality to everyone. She never met a stranger her whole life. Marea was dearly loved by all, and will be greatly missed. Marea was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; son Drew; and sister Carleen. She is survived by her children Curtis (wife Patty), Cheryl Lake (husband Mike), Denean, Craig (wife Kate), and Duane (wife Cindy); sisters Andrea Searcy and Cheryl Long Bailey; her aunt and dear friend Betty; and grandchildren Nicole, Lauren, Christian, Sean, Madison, Emily, Olivia, Morgan, Blake, Abigail, and Macklin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 7th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service with both events taking place at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marea may be made to the Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First Street, Rochester, MN 55905.
