Obituary for Richard Possenriede

RICHARD J. POSSENRIEDE Richard John, 79, of Hainesport, NJ died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Possenriede was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Carteret, NJ before moving to Hainesport 11 years ago. His career with PSE&G in Somerset, NJ spanned 48 years; initially as a proud member of the IBEW Union and then as Supervisor; retiring in 2003. Mr. Possenriede honorably served his country in the US Army National Guard. Mr. Possenriede is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna J. (nee Berkebile); son Kenneth (wife Jennifer); daughter Beth Haughey (husband Frank); sister Jacqueline Kirk; grandchildren Stephanie, Emily, Alex, and Christopher. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 4th from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon immediately followed by the funeral service all at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Interment will be at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hainesport. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Possenriede may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 910 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036.
