Obituary for Robert F. Ziegler
Robert F. Ziegler, age 91, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
Mr. Ziegler was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ 39 years ago. He served his country honorably as a World War II veteran and was a devoted member to Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Robert then went on to run a successful wholesale hardware company for over 60 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed rooting for all the Philadelphia sports teams, listening to Frank Sinatra, and working in his yard. Above all else, Robert really cherished spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
Robert is survived by his beloved spouse, Sarah (nee Somerjian); children, Robert (Donna), Stephen (Kimberlee); brother, Eugene (Margaret); grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah, Stephen, Robert, Matthew; niece, Miriam; and many other nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday, May 11th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM immediately followed by mass of Christian burial, both at Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert’s name may be made directly to the church at the address above.
