Obituary for Ruth Marshall Stahmer (Poulterer)
Ruth Marshall Stahmer, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving children.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1941, Ruth is the daughter of the late William and Ruth Poulterer, sister to Helen Kolodziejczak, and brother to the late William Poulterer, Jr. She was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church in Mount Laurel, NJ. Ruth enjoyed sewing, reading, and card making, as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ruth is the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Gerhard E. Stahmer, Sr.; dedicated mother of Rick (Jean), Brian (Patricia), the late Scott Stahmer, Sr. (Beth), and Melissa (Jim) Watt. Loving grandmother to Ashley, Tricia, Bailey, Jenna, Scotty, Erin, and Christina. She was preceded in death by her two granddaughters, Samantha and Brianna.
Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 10:00 AM, followed by a 11:00 AM funeral service, both at Heritage Baptist Church, 530 Union Mill Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
