Obituary for Sydney Nasife

SYDNEY NASIFE Sydney, 86, of Pennsauken, New Jersey, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro, NJ. Mr. Nasife was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Woodlynne, NJ before moving to Pennsauken in 1967. He was a Meat Cutter for A&P and SuperFresh supermarkets in Philadelphia for 42 years; retiring in 1989. Mr. Nasife honorably served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church in Merchantville, NJ. Mr. Nasife is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace (nee Girgenti); sons, Thomas (wife Carol) and Sydney N. (wife Jiayou); brother, Louis (wife Edna); grandchildren, Michele Brown (husband Steve), Kevin, Tanya, and Christine; and great grandson, Michael. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Lee in 1989. The viewings will be held on Tuesday, March 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service all at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Entombment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
