Obituary for Timothy "Tim" Lis
Timothy Lis, age 53, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
Mr. Lis was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Mount Laurel since the early 1970’s. He was the Owner and Vice President of Airtech Sheet Metal Corporation, in Palmyra, New Jersey. Mr. Lis was an avid fisherman and boater, hunter, gardener, and cook. He loved nature and the outdoors. His family was extremely important to him. Tim was an organ donor through the Gift of Life Program. He was always ready to slip you a $20 bill, a bag of tomatoes, and a package of venison.
Mr. Lis was preceded in death by his son, Christopher M. Rudolph; and his mother, Andrea Lis. Surviving are his beloved wife, Barbara A. Lis (nee Fogel); father, Ronald J. Lis, and his wife, Helen A. Lis; son Michael R. Rudolph (Sheri); sister, Donna M. Lis (Mark Zeile); aunt, Jean Palumbo; cousins, Joseph G. Scullin, Jr., and Jennifer Hoch; and 8 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Friday, February 16, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM, both at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Avenue, Moorestown, New Jersey. The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, February 16, at 10:30 AM, at the address above. Interment will follow, at Eldridge Cemetery, Mount Laurel.
